I’m Aaron, GP in York & this is my first post on here. In October 25 we opened a Social Enterprise, CQC-registered clinic to support people in the community with alcohol use disorder support. We’re currently self funded but exploring grants / pilots with local and NHS services.
We currently use Semble as our medical record system but communication with our clients’ GPs is one of our pain points. We write letters and Semble has a directory of GP practices has the GP Practices in the UK but about 50% of the time there’s no email address so usually means that I have to call the surgery to get the best email for a clinic letter. Even when we have the email address and send it through Semble, some practices say they cannot open external links or download PDFs from non- NHS.net email addresses.
I’m aware of MESH and GP Connect but has anyone got any tips / ideas of how we can improve this?
