Hi All
Hope someone can help or guide. I have created a new MESH API service, which sends FHIR messages containing a patient PDF report. The MESH solutions has stated the messages have been accepted and acknowledged, but the GP client can’t see the messages in their mailbox.
I sent 3 on the workflow DF_ONLINE_CONSULTATION and TOC_FHIR_OP_ATTEN.
I’ve spoken to a “Technical Solutions Service Consultant” within NHS digital and he can see that on the logs it all looks good.
Can someone please help
Thanks
Hi Chris,
We can see that the messages that you’ve been sending have been downloaded and acknowledged by the part of the GP system that connects to the recipient’s mailbox. For whatever reason, they’re not going any further than that. Please can you contact the GP surgery so that they can log a call with their system supplier (EMIS) to look into why the messages are not being processed.

Is this using a national standard such as GP Connect Send Document or is this a locally agreed data flow?
If the former have you gone through assurance with NHSE?
If the latter have you arranged with EMIS for them to ingest your documents under specific workflows?
Thanks, the GP and I have created a case for EMIS to investigate
Hi Adam
Thanks for you’re reply. Its not GP connect, but its using a FHIR workflow. This workflow is used by the GP in question.
I have now been working on this a bit more and refactored my message to return no error messages on the FHIR validation site. I’m working with ITK and their validation mailbox to try and make sure the message is fully validated. Currently the message is being returned, stating unreadable
Again thanks
