Does anybody have any experience working with the weekly dm+d xml files? I’m trying to build a standalone API for some of its content and I’d really like to be able to get the relevant SNOMED codes for the products, there is an overwhelming amount of data!
currently I have a fluid mapping of GTIN to AMPPID but it would be really nice to pull in more clinical information regarding the products and i feel like the SNOMED code would provide a quick relational access point, any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Just to let you know we have our NHS England Terminology Server which is a FHIR Web API. All dm+d data is available on this. But by the sounds of things you are creating a standalone API therefore I am assuming this is disconnected from the internet.
dm+d concepts that have SNOMED codes are in the following dm+d drug classes: VTM, VMP, AMP, VMPP, AMPP, Ingredients, Units of Measure, Supplier, Form and Route.
The SNOMED CT UK Drug Extension data is created from dm+d, so I am just flagging that I am not sure if the SNOMED CT UK Edition will have any more data than dm+d.
