Legacy Access to MESH

We have an existing app using MESH in production which is currently working and communicating via the MESH production environment. We’ve been trying to create integration tests for the integration environment and have a mailbox ID but no password.

We have an account on the developer portal at https://onboarding.prod.api.platform.nhs.uk/ and the team, has access, but this doesn’t seem to be tied to our existing registration. My guess is that it’s tied to a legacy organization somewhere so it’s not showing up. How do we go about getting access to the registration we’ve already been through and had approved?

In addition, I can’t see anything on the REST API documentation about how we access the mailbox outside the MESH client or API. Is it possible to connect via POP3 or some kind of web UI so we’re able to see the messages?

Hi Harry,

If you have a MESH mailbox in the Path to Live INTEGRATION environment and have the mailbox id but have forgotten the mailbox password, please can you reach out to the ITOC Support Desk who look after the PTL environments and will be able to reset the mailbox password for you. Their email address is itoc.supportdesk@nhs.net

The REST API documentation explains how you can use API calls to interact with the MESH API. Other methods of interacting with MESH are by using the Java MESH Client, or by browsing to the MESH User Interface if you have a MESH UI account that is linked to your MESH mailbox. The ITOC Support Desk can create MESH UI accounts for Path to Live environment mailboxes.

Kind Regards
Paddy

Thank you. I’ve submitted a request to the helpdesk for both.
