Use cases for MESH

I work for a consultancy that supports clinical pathways and integrations with NHS APIs.

I am looking at MESH as a potential opportunity - is someone able to provide me with up to date information about MESH, and whether this could be a valuable integration for potential clients?

e.g. I’m thinking that it could be useful for Pathology and Life Sciences……

Is there any significant benefit to integrating vs the web app login?

Any guidance gratefully appreciated!

Thanks for your post. We have active integrations with MESH for pathology purposes and we do have some examples of life sciences too, so that sounds like a good fit.

We find that the options people choose (API, client or UI) varies according to their need and local setup, so things like:

  • The volume of content you will send
  • The flexibility you need to integrate with your other local products and solutions

There are also usually considerations around what resources you have available to do the engineering work required.

Additionally, if you’re looking at integrations across multiple products and want real-time notifications when things have changed, there’s another product that may be of interest to you - the multicast notification service.
