We are trying to integrate with MESH API via Trust Integration Engine(HealthShare HealthConnect). Could someone please help with steps we need to do get access to the MESH server.
We got new MESH mailbox created and also got the secret key. What is the next step we need to do ?
We are using InterSystems HealthShare which already has MESH API conformance certificate.
Do we need to Environment access request and/or Product onboarding via the NHS developer hub or do we need to do any other steps to get access to MESH server?
Thank you for your help
Hi Mary,
If you are using InterSystems Healthshare to connect to the MESH API and they already have a MESH API conformance certificate for it, there is no need for you to go through MESH API Onboarding in DOS. You can go ahead and request a MESH mailbox in the Live Production Environment using the request form found at Apply for a MESH mailbox - NHS England Digital
You’ll probably asked to provide a copy of InterSystems’ MESH API Conformance certificate as proof of onboarding.
Hope that helps.
Kind Regards
Paddy
Thank you for the details, Paddy.
We already got the MESH mailbox and secret key for the mailbox configuration. Thank you for your help with it.
What I am not sure about is the next steps i.e.
- how do we get the correct SSL certificates for connection? do we need to create the CSR and send it to get the certificate ?
- what is the process to get the correct connection details like the prod MESH server details, urls for for MESH mailbox lookup and MESH document delivery etc?
Thanks
Mary
If InterSystems does not have a single TLS cert that they use for all of their sites, the next step would be for you (or InterSystems) to generate a Certificate Signing Request and email that to the National Service Desk.
Thank you so much for the details. I will do the CSR.
