"Deceased check" using PDS - where in the e-RS process should this happen?

Where in the referral journey should the deceased check (via PDS) be undertaken?

We assumed that this check would be undertaken at the point of initially drawing down the referral as a provider, and that it would not be necessary to repeat this process during the rest of the referral journey.

The deceased check should ideally be done at the point (or just prior) to carrying an action, like a clinical triage.

The check can be done beforehand, but the period between the referral being retrieved and it being reviewed must be considered.
