if an EHR is configured with mail box C , with password D
Can I use the EHR to use C, D credentials to send to mesh with certificate F?
I guess my question is a certificate tied to a mailbox?
I think it is, when you send the CSR for generating the certificate, you need to specify the MESH mailbox ID to be served with the generated certificate, so your Certificate F would have your mailbox A listed in its CN. But surely, a new certificate can be linked to more than one mailbox ID(s) if you have a hard requirement to use only one certificate for both mailboxes.

so yes ‘my’ mail box is bound within the csr, but would i be able allowed to use the same cert to send for another mail box id?
the ask is, a trust may not have their own mail box so i default to send from ‘my’ mailbox. and if they do, we can hold it credentials within our EHR.

If your MESH certificate is valid, you can use it to send messages from any mailbox that you have the login credentials for. Many suppliers use the same certificate for all of their mailboxes as it simplifies deployment.
