We are working on the automated validation of relationships using PDS data, the first goal is to look at the birth mother and child, from there expand into other relationship types.
Currently, we are running the Related Person endpoint of the PDS FHIR API to fetch the birth-mother child relationship for selected mother and child validation. When we run the related person endpoint for the mother, we get a list of children utilised from CHILD code, and there is a lack of NCHILD (Natural Child) support in the existing FHR API response, which means we cannot differentiate between what child relationship type this is.
We would like to understand the raw data relationship types that feed into the FHIR API relationship types for Mother and Child.
