PDS HL7v3 API deprecation reminder:

The PDS HL7v3 API is under review for deprecation and then retirement. We strongly encourage organisations to begin prioritising your roadmaps to move to the PDS FHIR API. (We have not published a deprecation or retirement date yet).

We know that some consumers were previously blocked from adopting the PDS FHIR API due to the lack of capability

  1. to allocate an NHS number
  2. and Create a PDS record at birth

We are looking for private beta users for either or both functionalities. We will be streamlining the onboarding process and handholding private beta users. Please comment on this thread if you are interested and we can set up a quick initial call.
