Email notifications
To receive email notifications from the Community, you must have an account.
Check your email preferences
- Select your Notifications and account icon at the top right‑hand corner of the screen.
- Select the profile (person/role) icon from the menu that appears.
- Select Preferences from the popup menu.
- Choose Emails.
- Set your preferred options and select Save Changes.
To receive email notifications for ‘watched’ categories and tags, you must be logged out of the community.
Receive notifications for specific posts
- Go to the category you want from the Community home page.
- Select the alarm icon on the top right.
- Choose Watching.
- Return to your preference settings and check your tracking settings.
Make sure you save any changes.
Category notifications
You can set different notification levels for each category.
To change your notification level:
- Go to any category page (for example, PDS, EPS, MESH).
- Select the notification bell icon at the top right of the topic list.
- Choose one of the following:
- Watching – you will be notified about all new topics and replies.
- Tracking – you will be notified if someone mentions you.
- Watching first post – notified only about new topics.
- Normal – standard notifications.
- Muted – no notifications.
Your bell icon will update automatically to show the setting you chose.
