I am looking for a contact in the NHS who can be a point of contact / queries for questions we have about integrating and onboarding with the NHS spine. We’re working towards a number of integrations over the coming months and we’d like someone who can make sure we get the access we need in a timely way. Help!

If you’re specifically integrating with NHS APIs and services (including Spine services), you’ll also likely want to use the Digital Onboarding Service, which handles assurance questionnaires and approvals: https://digital.nhs.uk/services/digital-onboarding-service

That said, the best contacts and support approach can vary depending on which Spine services you’re planning to integrate with - and whether you’re at discovery, testing or live onboarding stages.

Thanks Monica. We’re looking to integrate with the Spine services for Consultation Management and Referral Management for Community Pharmacy, and they’re new to us. Basically, we’re looking for support to get up to speed quickly and contacts in case we have any issues. So:

  • Digital Medicines Pharmacy Emergency Supply for Pharmacy First Urgent Medicine Supply
  • Directory of Services (DoS) - Urgent and Emergency Care Standard
  • MESH API
  • ITK3 Send Document
  • 111 Standard
  • Personal Demographics Service (PDS FHIR)
  • Authentication and Access (CIS2)

It sounds like it might be a different contact per service?
