Join Our User Research for NHS Service Catalogue - GP connect

Hello,

The NHS APIM Content and Catalogues team is looking for participants for our user research!

What’s the research about?

We aim to help users find what they need more easily on the NHS Service Catalogue. We’re introducing new page structures and reorganised content for two main use cases:

  • Strategic and Technical: For prospective users deciding on service integration.
  • Operational: For current users needing information for tasks like reporting outages or requesting changes.

How?

  • Format: Remote, 1-hour sessions over Microsoft Teams.
  • Activities: Brief discussion of a recent example, followed by a scenario run-through using a prototype and the current live site.

When?

We aim to run sessions the week commencing 15th July 2024.

Who?

You fit our research profile if, in the last 6 months, you have:

  • Contacted GP Connect with an integration or adoption query.
  • Contacted the Personal Demographics Service (PDS) team with an operational request (e.g., requesting access to data, changes to data, or queries about data fields or business processes).

What next?

  • Read the information above.
  • If you need more details about the study, risks, and data protection, reply to this post or message me, and I will send you the information sheet.
  • Fill in the screener survey if you’re happy to participate. It takes only a few minutes.
  • We will contact successfully screened participants to gather consent and book a session.

Your participation will help us improve our services. Any questions, please ask.

Thank you!

Best regards,
