I’ve picked up the completion of the SCAL from a colleague, and I’m looking for some clarification about some of the requested information that I have not been able to find elsewhere. I suspect this will lead to more specific questions as I come to fill in some of the rows, but I’ll leave this post just with the general guidance questions.
- On the e-RS Overarching Requirements tab, section 9 (Architecture collateral) seems to be specifically, if not only, relevant to situations where the supplier is supplying the product to other EUOs. We are building purely for our own use, so are both supplier and sole EUO. Does this section still apply?
- Rows 67 onwards in the e-RS Overarching Requirements tab determine which rows (requirements) need to be completed in the e-RS Functional Requirements tab, but for the functional requirements there isn’t a “N/A” option in the compliant column for endpoints not used. Should there be, and if not should we answer Yes we are compliant, or No we are not compliant and state Not Used in the additional notes?
- What is expected in column G - Supplier Implementation Reference?
- What is expected in column I - Test Reference Matrix?
- What is expected in column J - Type?
I’ve had a hunt around the developer site for any other advice about the SCAL, but the guidance notes in the “Guidance & Process” tab of the SCAL itself is all I can find, and they are generic to all services rather than specific to e-RS.
