What would you recommend displaying to end users of my consuming application?

The National Care Record Service is a consuming application integrated with the National Record Locator. We do not mandate that you copy the look and feel of NCRS. However, as an example, the National Care Record service landing page displays a ‘document’ tile, with a count of how many pointers a patient has to see. When they click on this tile, the ‘documents’ page opens. This currently lists all pointers available for the patient. These are currently organisation by their creation date (although we have had feedback to suggest it would be better to order them by their last updated date). These search results detail the date the pointer was created, the record type, the record owner (this is looked up dynamically using the author ODS code supplied on the pointer, as the ODS code would not be meaningful to an end user), the clinical setting, and a link to the document. If you are consuming pointer types where there are likely to be lots of search results for a patient, you may wish to implement additional sorting/filtering capabilities.
