How is SCR managing PDS changes particularly around record merges within PDS ? Are the SCR records merged into the new patient that being reflected on PDS ?

When two PDS records are merged, the associated summary scare records are similarly merged.
Picking this thread again, how the merge notification from PDS made available into SCR and NCRS ? Does the SCR backend team work with PDS team in these areas ? Also, how about de-merge ?
You can be notified about superseded records (which is what happens in a merge) from the MNS event for the same NHS number change event - NHS England Digital

Organisations should always check PDS before doing an operation, so they would get the new NHS Number and record back when asking for the previous NHS number on file.
