PDS Death Notification Status Code

Is the pds death notification status code returned in the DBS batch tracing response file? I have checked in the DBS response file but cannot see any items which correspond to death notification status code, however the death notification status code is mentioned in the appendix of the DBS batch tracing user guide. Does anyone have an email address for the DBS batch tracing team in order that I can ask directly? Thanks in advance

You are correct in that

  • death notification status is not a field returned in the DBS batch file
  • and that the user guide documentation is incorrect.

We will raise a ticket to correct the documentation.
