We are supporting an online provider to integrate with e-RS.
They have an ODS code for their organisation.
Is there a requirement for them to have “child” ODS codes for every region in order to be able to accept referrals from all regions, or are they able to just use the parent ODS code?
Hi Tim - It depends on your access mode, and topology.
For user-restricted, it can be either parent or child code.
For application-restricted, it has to be the parent code as this mode is configured to fetch referrals across the whole organisation, like an NHS Trust, not the NHS Trust Site.
