Is Directory of Services Search API Available For Onboarding?

I already have staging access to the Directory of Services Search API (Service Search v3) via the NHS API Platform (Private Key JWT).

I’ve been advised by the Service Desk that production enablement for this API is not yet available and that an API Onboarding Lead (OBL) would need to initiate any SCAL or production app enablement.

Could someone from the Service Search v3 / Directory of Healthcare Services API team please confirm:

• Whether SCAL onboarding is currently open for Service Search v3
• Or whether production access is simply not yet being offered for external consumers

I’m keen to follow the correct process and avoid submitting SCAL prematurely if onboarding is not yet open.

Hi Peter,

Users migrating from earlier version to Directory of Healthcare Services API - version 3 will need to go through the onboarding process for this API.

Please note that Service Search v3 is still being rolled out incrementally and * Production enablement is not yet self-service

We will respond here once we have checked with the Service Search (DoHS) Onboarding Lead on onboarding details for Version 3.
