The system works on a retrieval/download mechanism, rather than streaming. NIR is more “on demand” than “in real time”. At this stage we can communicate SLA aims till we have the data to confirm real world response times. The SLA for a query response time is 2 seconds 95% of the time. This has been raised with the NIR clinical working group regarding the retrieval SLA. Papers and recommendations addressing the issues raised will be released when finalised.
