We are working on aligning our private e-prescribing platform (SmartRx) with the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and ensuring full alignment with NHS data handling standards.

I would like to clarify a few things regarding API integrations:

  1. What are the best practices for handling end-to-end encryption when transmitting digital prescriptions directly from private clinics to a dispensing pharmacy unit?
  2. Are there specific NHS API integration pathways we should consider to cross-verify prescriber credentials (GPhC/GMC) efficiently in real-time?
