I was wondering if some insight could be provided on the connection between eRS and ODT..
I am trying to implement the RBACS process similar to how the eReferral Service have set up. But when the Business Functions api is called, the organisations do not contain the name of the organisation, just the code. I want to be able to display the name.
I thought that sending the org code to the ODT api would bring back the name of the expected organisation, but instead it’s bringing something else back..
E,g, Org code - R7Y3V
I was expecting “TD009461 TEST TRUST 015”
What I got was “CLARITY CONSULTING ASSOCIATES LTD”
Am I using the wrong api for this?
Hi David,
Thanks for your query. I just have a couple of follow up questions regarding the Org code and what you were expecting.
1.Which environment are you calling the Business Functions API against?
2.Where does “TD009461 TEST TRUST 015” come from? Have you seen that name displayed somewhere, or is that what you assumed the code should resolve to?
3.Is R7Y3V from a real response you got back from that environment, or is it a code you picked yourself for testing?
The answers to these should help us progress your query.
Thanks,
George
Hi George,
Thank you for replying.
I am running it against the INT environment.
TD009461 TEST TRUST 015 is how it shows in INT e-Referral Service (eRS) as the service provider assigned to my INT smartcard.

R7Y3V is returned in the business function API which I then passed to the ODT api but get a different org returned.
