Does ODT FHIR R4 return email for a GP Practice?

Hi,

I’ve seen this question asked of the ODS API - is the answer also true of the ODT FHIR R4 API?

Is It possible to use the ODS ORD API ODS code search option (endpoint - https://directory.spineservices.nhs.uk/ORD/2-0-0/organisations/ <<ODS_Code>>) to get the GP practice email address ? API documentation says response data includes contacts - email, website, telephone and fax but when I do a search it does not return any contact details. We are trying explore an option to use this API to update GP practice email in Trust Integration engine for out of area clinical document delivery. Than…

We haven’t used the FHIR API yet, but when I looked into it previously, the documentation didn’t mention anything about GP email details.

ODS do not publish email addresses so they are not available via the ORT FHIR R4 API I’m afraid.
