S/MIME encryption certificate for nhs.net (NHSMail) email address

We are trying to send patients’ personal health information via secure email to GP practices that use an nhs.net (NHSMail) email address. We expect to do this via S/MIME encryption and would need the S / MIME encryption certificate for the practices that we are working with so would appreciate any help in locating those or someone within in NHSDigital that could help in that regard?

As we use NHSmail to send the emails and only to nhs.net addresses we do not need to encrypt as NHSmail handles it for us. NHSmail do have very good support guides https://support.nhs.net/knowledge-base/applications-guide/ which links to download https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/comms-mat/Training-Materials/Guidance/applicationsguide.pdf which contains all the steps required. If you need more please feel free to contact NHSmail directly.

The recommendation we produced from PDG was the use of NHSmail for confidential/sensitive emails to patients/clinicals and gov.notify if the notification wasn’t sensitive.
