Initial test of the combined simulated auth error

Hi Devendra,

I’m not clear where the error is, are you saying you’re getting at error when you trying to log into the INT version of CIM (https://preprod.manage-care-identities.care-identity-service2.nhs.uk/ page), or another system?

Thanks
Alistair

Hi Alistair,
When I insert the card in and put the password in the identity agent it works fine and I select the consultant role. But sometimes it opens a window in the browser with (https://preprod.manage-care-identities.care-identity-service2.nhs.uk/) which gives options to choose for authentication, one of the options is to use smartcard. When I choose that option and click authenticate it gives the below error

There is a problem

Our system is unable to log you in.

Close and reopen your browser, then try again.

If you still cannot login contact us on [ssd.nationalservicedesk@nhs.net](mailto: ssd.nationalservicedesk@nhs.net)

The other error is about the sample spring boot app that I took from github. When I run the app and open the URL https://localhost:8443/index.html it gives the below error
{
“error” : “invalid_request”,
“error_description” :“Not Found”,
“message_id”: “rrt-45467570534966841-b-geu2-1371884-33289209-1”
}
Please let me know if you need more information.
Thanks
Devendra

Hi @devendra.soni - how’s the development going now please? Do you need any further help at all?

Hi Lucy, Could you please check my last email I sent to you. We need some endpoint details and setup in INT environment so we can perform some tests with test UBRNS.

Thanks

Devendra

Hi Devendra,

Thanks for replying - your set up was completed on 29/08/25 (where you changed to application restricted access) and you’ve previously had test data issued to you (let me know if you need it re-sending) Are you still having problems please?

In one of your emails prior to that, you also asked: Could you please send me the link where I can find the new end points and the request formats etc.

You can find the spec here: https://digital.nhs.uk/developer/api-catalogue/e-referral-service-fhir and everything else on the website: https://digital.nhs.uk/services/e-referral-service/api - the end points and how they all work together are described here: https://digital.nhs.uk/services/e-referral-service/api/integration-process/stage-1.3---explore-our-api

You may also want to take a look at the deprecation guidance https://digital.nhs.uk/services/e-referral-service/api/updates-and-releases/deprecation-notices

Happy to arrange a call if there’s anything you want to talk through - let me know.
