Developer Community guidelines

Our goal is to make the Developer Community a respectful, inclusive and productive place for everyone. Please follow these guidelines when taking part.

Dos and don’ts

Do

  • Be respectful, constructive and considerate of others
  • Keep conversations relevant to NHS England APIs, services and digital health
  • Share clear questions, solutions and examples to help others learn
  • Report bugs, issues or security concerns through the appropriate channels

Don’t

  • Share confidential, patient-identifiable or sensitive organisational data
  • Post advertising, spam or promotional content
  • Engage in harassment, discrimination, or hostile behaviour

Moderation

Community moderators may:

  • edit, move or remove posts that break these guidelines
  • temporarily or permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations
  • escalate security or misconduct concerns to NHS England teams
