I have already performed a PDS and SDS lookups for a patient with no issues. On connecting to GP Connect to retrieve an ARHTML record I get an “PARTYKEY\_INTERACTION\_CHECK\_FAILED\_MESSAGERECEIVER” error response.

Full response message:

According to [Error handling - NHS England Digital](https://digital.nhs.uk/services/gp-connect/develop-gp-connect-services/development/error-handling) this is because the Receiver ASID isn’t authorised? Does this mean that the patients record is restricted? Or is there another issue? Should this be considered a permanent restriction?

Look ups for other patients from the same system work with no issues.

Hi Paul,

This appears to be an **GP Connect-specific** question rather than an NHS England API Platform issue.

Unfortunately, the API Platform team doesn’t have visibility of ASID authorisation or Party Key information.

I would recommend raising this with the **GP Connect team** on the Developer community for GP Connect queries:

> **[GP Connect](https://developer.community.nhs.uk/c/sharing-clinical-data/gp-connect-fhir/18)**
>
> GP Connect is a suite of capabilities that allows authorised health and social care workers in a variety of care settings to access their patients’ GP records.

Or developers can contact the GP Connect team at:\*\* [gpconnect@nhs.net](mailto:gpconnect@nhs.net)\*\* or raise a request via the NSD. Details below:

- NHS National Service Desk
- Email: [ssd.nationalservicedesk@nhs.net](mailto:ssd.nationalservicedesk@nhs.net)
- Telephone: 0300 303 5035

Thanks,

**NHS England API Platform team**

**Please note: The API Platform team can only address queries relevant to the NHS England API Platform, including security, rate limiting, logging, monitoring and alerting. For any API, CIS2, NHS Login specific queries, please reach out to the relevant API / Service teams.**
