# How to identify non GP referral

Currently, all referrals into our EPR via the API are GP referrals.

We have a requirement to accept referrals from community nurses, where the nurse would submit the referral from SystmOne to eRS, and we would then pull into our EPR.

How do we identify that the referral has originated from a community nurse rather than a GP?
